Dr. Michael Bucci is a graduate of Wayne State University School Of Medicine. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Michigan. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Bucci has 31 articles published in refereed journals, and has clinical research on-going with Malignant Astrocytoma. Dr. Bucci's Areas of Interest Include:

Professional Affiliations of Dr. Bucci include membership in the American Board of Forensic Examiners, American Medical Association, Anderson County Medical Society, American College of Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Southern Neurological Society, South Carolina Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and North American Spine Society. In 1992 he was certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and, in 1993 was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Certification by the American Board of Forensic Examiners followed in 1994. Dr. Bucci is also certified by the American College of surgeons as an instructor of "Advanced Trauma Life Support" through 2000.
